I don’t know the fabric content, but I think its silk.
The bodice fabric has flocking. Bodice buttons in the back and the skirt has back plastic zipper. It is fully lined but the sleeves are sheer and end with a beaded cuff that closes with hook and eyes. There is bead trim at the neckline, waist, and wrists and appears intact. And it wouldn’t be from the eighties if it didn’t have shoulder pads!
We have a handful of these 1980s Adele Simpson Gowns. Did we get into Nancy Reagan’s closet? Maybe? Probably not. Because ewwww.
