One can really go down a rabbit hole when researching this vintage stuff. As I did with this jacket! “If it has this, it’s this old”, but “if it has THAT” it is that old”. There is a lot to absorb. Through research, I did determine this to be from the mid 1980s.
This is pretty much a standard denim jacket by Lee. The lining is acrylic – which is also helpful in identifying that this is from the 80s. AND it has an UGWA label – which folded in the early 1990s. Ergo, this is older than that. Throw in a corduroy collar and the fact that all buttons are present, and you are all set!
