1960s/70s Jerry Marsch for Mardi Gras Maxi Dress
Mardi Gras! Conjures images of beads and masquerade balls and drunk people. This dress maybe doesn’t necessary conjure any of those mental pictures, but I do think it is interesting and unusual!
There is no fabric label, but I’m guessing it is a poly blend: The chiffon top layer as well as the lining. The lining in the skirt is not as full as the top chiffon. The long set-in sleeves are not lined. The attached belt-like sash gives me some Obi vibes. We show it tied in the back with a bow, but I think you could tie it a few different ways. This print is also pretty fabulous with a great colorway!
