Late 1960s/Early 1970s Skirt by Elizabeth Arden

$140.00

Very good vintage condition.

  • A-line/Maxi length

  • No fabric content – would guess is a wool blend. Did not find any moth holes

  • Fully lined

  • Wool (?) yarn fringe trim at hem – I deballed it. It does still like to pick up any fuzzies that might be on the floor

  • Back plastic zipper

  • Hook and eye closure on waistband

  • Sequin and bead decoration seems to be in good condition. Did not detect any missing bits

Measurements taken flat and doubled:

Waist 28”

Hip 51”

Measurements taken flat:

Length 43”, including fringe

Elizabeth Arden was primarily known for cosmetics, that, so far as I know, is still made today. But she did also have a line of fashions. The clothing is no longer produced. Oscar de la Renta was designer with the company at one time!

Fun fact: Elizabeth Arden was a suffragette!
